Silverback Sanctum
Twin gorilla treks, helicopter to Bisate, golden monkey encounter and the Dian Fossey grave pilgrimage.

The only Rwandan-founded house composing private journeys into the mist of the Virungas — where the silverbacks reside.

"We do not lead tourists. We accompany kindred spirits to meet our family in the forest."
Long before Rwanda was the world's most extraordinary conservation story, it was simply home. As a boy I would watch the porters return from Karisimbi with mud to their knees and a quiet reverence in their eyes. I knew, even then, that the forest required not visitors, but witnesses.
Gerry Tours & Safaris is the house I built to honour that inheritance. Every itinerary is composed by me personally — never resold, never templated. Every trekker, scout and guide is a colleague I have known for years.
Welcome. Let us begin.

Twin gorilla treks, helicopter to Bisate, golden monkey encounter and the Dian Fossey grave pilgrimage.

Volcanoes, Nyungwe canopy walks, and the chimpanzees of Gishwati. Closing two nights on Lake Kivu.

Composed personally by Gerry. Coffee terraces, royal heritage, and unannounced encounters.
