As a boy growing up in the shadow of the Virunga volcanoes, Gerry would watch the porters return from Karisimbi with mud to their knees and a quiet reverence in their eyes. He knew, even then, that the forest required not visitors, but witnesses.

In 2007, with a single Toyota Land Cruiser and an unshakeable conviction that Rwanda deserved a safari house as refined as its landscapes, Gerry founded what would become the country's most personal luxury safari operation.
